Rules & Scoring

Your challenge is to predict who will take pole position and which drivers will secure a top-10 finish at each Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Players can submit (and update) picks via this site for any race from 1 week before race start date up until the start of:

  • Practice 3 on normal race weekends
  • Sprint Qualifying on weekends that have a sprint race
Picks submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.

Players must be logged in to submit picks. If technical issues occur, picks may be emailed to

  • Top 10 predicted race finishers
  • Pole position pick
  • Registered email address

If a player does not submit picks for a race, their most recent valid picks will automatically carry over to future races until new picks are submitted.

If a new player joins the competition without submitting picks for their first race, the Free Practice 2 results (P1-P10) will automatically be used as their picks, with Pole Position based on P1. For sprint weekends, the Free Practice 1 results will be used instead.

If a selected driver is temporarily replaced due to injury or illness, the replacement driver's result will be used for scoring.

Submitted picks will be updated automatically with replacement driver. Permanent replacements require updated picks.

Pole position scoring is based on the official starting grid as confirmed by the FIA after all qualifying penalties have been applied.

For each driver you predict, you earn points if that driver finishes in the official top 10 classification as confirmed by the FIA.

Points are awarded based on the driver's finishing position with below table as a basis.

  • If the driver finishes exactly in the position you predicted, you receive an additional 2 bonus points.
  • If the driver finishes lower than predicted, points are awarded for the actual finishing position.
  • If the driver finishes higher than predicted, points are capped at the predicted position.

Additional bonus points are awarded based on how many of your predicted drivers finish anywhere in the top 10, regardless of order:

  • 6 drivers in the top 10: +2 points
  • 7 drivers in the top 10: +4 points
  • 8 drivers in the top 10: +6 points
  • 9 drivers in the top 10: +10 points
  • 10 drivers in the top 10: +16 points

If two or more players are tied on race score, the player who submitted their final picks for that race earliest will be ranked higher.

The maximum possible score for a single race is 97 points.
